Garden Group Tours

Since 1972 passionate plant breeder and collector Bob Cherry has devoted his life to creating one of Australia’s largest and most famous gardens. His wife, Derelie Cherry, recently published a book, ‘Two Dogs & A Garden’ about their life together in their 12 hectare garden called ‘Paradise’. It is open to group visits at the following times each year:

When: Last 2 weeks in April and first 2 weeks in May for camellias and late roses Last 2 weeks in July and first 2 weeks in August for camellias, magnolias, cherry blossom, polyanthus primula and poppies

Where: 147 Cherry Lane, Kulnura, NSW 2250. Paradise is approximately 30 minutes from Gosford (via Somersby) and Wyong (via Yarramalong), 40 minutes north of Wahroonga up the F3(via Peats Ridge) and one hour south of Newcastle down the F3.

Cost: $12 per person for groups of 20 people or more. Includes tables and chairs under cover in Summer Tea House, hot water urn, introductory talk, tour of garden and selection of plants for sale.
